XD glass is an ultra-low dispersion
glass objective lens for finer resolution, and truer color.
XR multi-layer coatings are

transmittance.
XP engineering for rough handling. This design anchors
internal prisms in place, in spite of rough handling. These binoculars are
absolutely dust proof, fog proof, and waterproof and may be used without any
worry at any extreme weather conditions like rain, snow, strong wind, or dust
storm.
Complete waterproof protection keeps
dust and water out of the optical system with tight O-ring seals.
Complete fogproofing nitrogen purged
body eliminates condensation on the optical surfaces and insures fast deployment
