Digital NIGHT VISION MONOCULAR Ranger 5x42 LT

The next generation of night vision devices. The Ranger series takes the initial digital night vision
technology and pushes it to the next level. The result is a digital device that provides clarity, distance and video compatibility never seen before!

The image seen through the Digital NV Ranger 5x42 is crisp and sharp on the whole field of view and it does not show any light or dark spots and fuzziness toward the edges. Objective lens on the right side of the device provides 5x magnification. Left objective serves as Hi Beam IR . It is also energy saving Low Beam Pulse IR Illuminator installed below the lenses as shown on the attached picture. Dual IR system controlled with the button switches on the top of the device.

Both of IR illuminators operate in 940 nm wavelength which is above the sensitivity of conventional night vision devices limited to visible and near IR range up to 820 nm. For this reason and due to high power it allows to assist user with outstanding clarity at the most unfavorable viewing conditions within entire recognition range of 250 meters.
It dramatically improves vision in very dark areas as well as in the conditions with presenting of conventional bright light sources in the field (pole lights, vehicle lights and so on). It is well known that light sources are the major obstacle for electro optical night vision devices, which operates at near IR range. Gen1 night vision devices show large glare rings around lights. Gen2 and higher night vision devices adjust the amplification power automatically to reproduce the lights in the field without glare, but the dark areas become hidden. Powerful 940 nm IR illumination provided by Ranger does not intercept with visible lights and improve visibility in dark areas only. It also does not emit any glare and thus reduce the chance of being disclosed by other observers and by majority of night vision devices not sensitive to 940 nm emission rays.

Ranger
image brightness is comparable with Gen2 night vision scopes.  The Ranger is equipped with one 1/4" mount and can be used for steady observation and video recording (video output provided as shown on the attached picture). The high-strength body of the Ranger is made of constructional plastic providing shock, moisture and dust resistance for the whole unit.
